EPG problem HELP

Hi got a vu duo which had a few years now on latest vix image with cross epg but when i download epg it gets stuck and freezes so got to turn box on and off so only got a couple of programs on screen I have flashed with another vix image but still the same took cross epg off and reloaded again any ideas please

You need to setup a swap file for your Duo. Blue button > ViX > Swap Manager. Create a 256MB swap file to your HDD. Then enable/activate it & autostart. Then rerun CrossEPG.

done this but is stopping on parsing event gets about half way stops then starts again been doing this for 30 mins now

Shouldn't do with a swap file enabled. You probably best flashing receiver fresh with no restores (setup as new) and initialising your HDD (clean format) and then setting a swap file again.

thought I would do a update first and I think box has froze doing that been on for 20 mins now nothing has happened think I will just invest in vu solo
