An Advertisment for Freesat to encourage people to use their service. So people are encouraged to buy Freesat receivers.

These advertisements are on any channel that does adverts. The person responding just happened to see it on Dave.

I am looking to buy just a satellite box from WOS if freesat allows 7 day catchup, so does it or doen't it, that is all I am asking.

Only Freesat branded receivers can do that.

mmm, so it can only be done with a Freesat box, and in this case a Humax. No thanks , I'd rather not buy a Humax, as I had a freind who had one and sent it back due to clonky menus and picture breakup.

There is catch-up available. Indirectly. I use a plugin called IPTV Player and within that you can search any movie or tv series episode and play it back.
