It's called alternative numbering and I think it is in channel selection settings, sorry I can't be more specific there is no VIX support for the box I am currently using. ;)

Alternative numbering affects all bouquets. As OP is using ABM, he would be better off following this

@abu baniaz, thanks a lot, I followed the instructions on the link above, did ABM SCAN again and sky numbering came back ok but virgin still starts with 4, E.g. 4101, 4102 etc.
I'v FTP into the box but couldn't see any log file on home/root?

You have more than one provider selected, the numbering you mention in post 4 is normal. You cannot have two 101's and maintain official provider numbering for all providers.
If you enable alternate numbering, every bouquet will start at 1 (unless it has spacers).
The log folder is in /home/root/
The log files are in /home/root/logs/
There is no need for the logs as your issue is resolved as far as I can see. You may wish to use a custom mix file.
What is a custom mix file please?

MMM i have a bouquet list with over 100 bouquets in.
I set Virgin media and Sky UK to update via ABM creating two separate bouquets at the top of my list (The Virgin Media one is actually a custom mix of cable and sky), i don't have any sections enabled.
Both bouquets start with 101.

Do you have alternate numbering on?

i spoke too soon, woke up this morning and ABM already auto updated and channel listing has gone back to starting from 001 rather than 101

1.
Please consider using this for suture reference
http://www.world-of-satellite.com/showthread.php?44054-How-to-take-screen-shots-How-to-attach-files
2.
Are you connecting to the correct receiver?
Are you navigating to the correct location? Your screen prints in post 9 do not show you entering the "home" folder.
3.
Can you attach your settings file. It is located in /etc/enigma2/ You will need to zip it before you can attach it. If you added your email address in log manager, delete the line from the settings file before you zip it.
i guess im being thick here however i cant find any of the extensions you mentioned.
im sure that im connecting to the correct receiver because i gave it a static ip address
this is the screenshot when i FTP into the receiver using WinSCP
If you are free and have teamviewer can you help remotely please?

With any FTP program, you have to enter the directory you want. You are still at the root of the flash memory
Click on home,
then click on root,
then click on logs
Or just paste this on the location bar
/home/root/logs
@abu baniaz, please did you find anything wrong within the files I uploaded?

Your debug logs are missing some values because they are too big and got chopped.
In ABM, do you have "extra debug" enabled? If so,
Please disable it.
Delete all existing log files
Restart
Run ABM
Upload the debug logs created afterwards again please.

Actually, the problem is more than likely that you have enabled unlinked bouquets.
Menu > setup > system > channel selection settings > load unlinked bouquets
Change that to no, and restart your receiver.
@abu
please find attached the log files, thanks a lot for your support

Disable the unlinked bouquets.
