reset it and on boot up , the small gap still there on any lcd skin setting. seems needs to be set like user settings for gui? wide height etc

Never found a way around it when had mines. Posted here and on other forums. No gui/positions settings seem to touch that

yep, making my ocd go mad, as a big black square and bootup logo in back

like someone has sized the screen wrong in settings? like 4.25 not 4.3

i have a 65inch tv and have had to bring in the sides of my user settings as missing the M of menu in top left
i bet this is a problem

even setting tv output to 1080p its ONLY 720p on user settings and skin setup

ok its a bug:

go menu > setup >system >
user interface > position setup >

click yellow for defaults and screen goes back to normal, but i miss half of the red button on bottom left and 5px of the letters

but when i come out, the 3mm gap on lcd is gone, so its overscan of something problems

now i go back to 1080p and pick a channel the gap is back!!!

posted on xtrend site, but be great if the vix guys can look at it. not skin related as i tested 10 skins and the same
even on boot up you can see the gap and in the back the snow leopard boot logo

My actual tv was fine after a Vix update, even on reboot, everything fitted fine like it used to. But the little screen never was full screen if I remember right. On my old 720p Bravia overscan can't be turned off apparently

you have 2 choices.
1. fix overscan on your TV
2. write down the changes when you modify the receiver in user interface/position setup
Then reset to defaults & reboot
Then enter written settings and save.
As long as you do not reboot you will not see the live TV around the edges.

E2 reboot is fine.

Sorry can you clearly state what you are trying to do:)

when you go to move sat from 28.2 to 13 east i used to have a dish pop up on vix in top left saying 28.2 moving to 13e and a count down in secs to move

in the old days you had to add this as a plugin, but now as i moved to openatv to get rid of the gap problem, when i move my motor dish, i dont have anything on screen telling me dish is moving

randomly its came back :) in ocd there is a flashing or off flashing when moving and was on flashing but after a reboot all good

cable sat all ok and no gap on any skin or lcd skin, so is a vix problem?
