ABM currently only supports about 65 of the 1150 UK transmitters - while they cover a large majority of the population it seems to leave the remainder requiring considerable expertise to get their PVR working sensibly. Possible ways of avoiding a major escalation in the database include:
* Performing a complete scan from within ABM
or better:
* Performing the scan on relevant channels manually (using frequency data readily available on the internet) and then run ABM in a mode that omits the scan and just generates the bouquets from the results of the previous scans.
but I can't see any way of doing either (though I prefer the latter as it would overcome problems discussed elsewhere with EPG data being present on missing channels).
Have I missed something?
