Epg importer not running

Hi....I've introduced a friend to a vu solo se purchased from the sponsor....today setting it up I was unable to get his epg to update....
I myself use the cross epg downloaded for 28.2
But his is cable....

I have it set to vm epg on the setings
And am using the epg importer that is on the receiver
But it won't upate when I set a time
Is there any settings that I have to change to get it to work

His box is running 4.2 10

The rytec source definitely works but i find you're better using cross for your sky and setting a zap timer to a VM preview channel through the night

Could u explain the procedure to do the rytec setup
Do I run the update using the epg importer

Or any links or pictures to how to set it up
