Looks like Team Commando are at it again, these guys done wonders with the Dbox2 now they're doing great things with Neutrino for the DM500S. Please post your feedback here.

Thanks to Team Commando and the ukcvs guys for sharing.

I'll give this a try sometime this week. Interested to see how well the epg works :)

you can use dreamup or any other suitable programme to install this to the DM500. and no you dont re-name the iso to .nfi as there different formats. only E2 and late model E1 boxes such as the DM7020 used .nfi formats.

use this to flash your box.

You to convert Enigma1 servies to Neutrino services. Theres is Neutrino buoquets editor about. I'll look through my old files and try post something up. I'll hopefully give this a go tomorrow.

the reload the channels or reboot

Rennie, can you refresh my memory please. Does Neutrino just use services files?

If you stick with it and get it working its actually very nice. I remember the key mappings to be more user friendly than Enigma1.

I am trying to get commando 14.7 my dream box it successfully installs no problem and I get the FTA channels, but I cannot see it on my network in dream box control centre therefore cannot enter any C line, anyone else experienced this problem or know how to fix it, never had this problem with the old gemini image.

you need to ensure you have an IP address on your commando dm500 obviously, but you havent mentioned if the box has an IP address or not. You need to resolve this first before you can move onto troubleshooting anything else.

Menu, ok
Settings, ok
Network, ok
Show active network settings, ok
Network Inactive = no internet

you should see
IP Address: 192.168.1.5 or similar ( make a note of it as this is your dreambox ip address)

you put CCcam.cfg into var/etc

but i think this is as far as we can discuss, as we need to respect forum rules

Jordie - I put it on today and although different than Pli - it is better because it has a good 7 day EPG, Picons and Auto Boquets....

In answer to your question copy cccam.ppc into Var/bin/emu but rename it just to CCcam

the .cfg file goes into var/etc and it must be names CCcam.cfg

it is improtant you get the capitals right, and as above that is as far as you can go with any cam talk - and rightly so.

Once they are FTP'd over to the box, press the blue button then go up to commander extras ( i think) and it should be there in the menu.
