Kodi Direct?

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what Kodi Direct is useful for? From looking at it seems like a bare bones Kodi but can't figure how it's useful compared to the Kodi Launcher plug in.

Kodidirect is just a Kodi emulator for use on Enigma 2 linux based satellite (STB) receivers. It's not Kodi and never will be.

It's a piece of shit. One that I would never contaminate my receiver with, but thats just my opinion.
