look at your av setting on the box and tv and adjust, also use a good quality HDMI lead

HDMI either works or it doesn't, a 99p lead will work exactly as well as a £99 cable certified to the same standard. Longevity and build quality may differ. Turn off any motion compensation on the screen - choose the movie/cinema pre-set, it usually has it off by default. The TV should pick up the correct refresh rate and display it correctly in an ideal world, but double check.

i turned off auto motion plus and i think its stopped

ill keep an eye on it and report back

thanks Avalon

absolute waffle. I have a 4k LG tv and when I bought it the man in shop tried to sell me a 4k hdmi and I thought B*****ks to that (trying to rip me off). when I watch football on a cheap HDMI there was a shadow on players when close up, had to buy a better quality hdmi that worked.

Some reading on hdmi cables. As long as it's high speed cable for uhd.

i do believe Avalon and Ashley69 are correct. ive used cheap and expensive hdmi cables. For SUHD and UHD you have to use a high speed 2.0 HDMI cable, ive found the amazon basics cables are just as good as the expensive ones
