Vu+ Zero Remote control - universal

I have seen a few threads on here that did not seem to work.

Pressing 1+3 simultaneously just flicks my stations between bbc and itv. The tv button does not illuminate, therefore I cannot enter the appropriate code for my tv.

Am I doing something wrong? The HDMI CEC has been set up as detailed in the thread??

Should i set my TV HDMI CEC settings?

Any experienced advice would be welcome.

thanks for the reply....the guide does work. I just needed to reset my remote and turn volume up.:D

Hello again,

Ive just refreshed my Vu Zero and the remote is not working at all. I can not even select the HDMI option to get the box to start. I have tried the 1+6 for 3 secs and then 996 but it still does not work.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

use the web interface remote for now or remote on dreamdroid

Put IP address of receiver in your web browser on pc or laptop. IP address should be same as last one.

how do i set up the box? Im using dream box control center, the actual remote does not work and won't let me select hdmi for set up after i have reflashed the box with latest openvix? Sorry but I'm new to this

Put your box's ip address in your search bar, I.e. Internet Explorer and this will open WebIf and you can control the box from there.
