Need help installing CrossEPG

I tried to reinstall CrossEPG again on my OpenPLI 4 receiver. I removed the old 0.62 and tried to install the latest version 0.81
I tried from USB drive and it will not work and I tried with DCC and I get an error "cannot install...."
Can someone please help me

switch box off completely and plug the usb in and start box. go to epg and setup and then download.

Thank you so much for your help. I already restarted the DM8000 several times and I will not let me install it from USB or
from the temp directory or through DCC. I even tried the old 0.62 and is always says 0 installed
When I try DCC I get the error: unknown package, incompatible architecture. I downloaded the ipk file from github

i suppose it come down to what image you are on. dm8000 are very old now. although I don't have much experience in those boxes
