Virgin. I've done initial epg setup, set to save on hdd and download every morning at 4am. Defragmented then pressed download but no change

Why didn't you say you are using CrossEPG downloader? Being vague does not help you get answers. CrossEPG downloader does not obtain EPG data from the signal wire for Cable.

You have to zap/tune/view the Preview channel (or any other channel on the same frequency) for 120 seconds every day. There is only 5 days EPG on the stream.

You can automate the zapping by installing and setting up the EPG refresh plugin.

Option 1. Manual channel change method
Go to the channel and stay there for two minutes.


Option 2. Automatic channel change method
Install the plugin, set it up by adding the channel, let it zap to the channel for 2 minutes. (I prefer background zap (fake recording)).
