update software

Hi, I have bben seeing the green arrow flashing when i am changing channels, which I assume means there is an software update, so I try to update the software through the menu and it keeps coming up with a software error, try again later. but I have tried several times but always he same error.
Can anyone help.

try restarting the box and try again. make sure you back up image first. if you have a usb attached take that out and try updating

I have tried that, I looked at my version and its 3.2 so if I update to the latest will I loose my blue button

I think there are no updates for 3.2 anymore.

looks like you need to usb flash from new with the latest image. meaning you lose all plugins/setting etc.

3.2 is no longer supported. You would need to flash to 4.2.008, but in doing so you will have to setup the receiver as new as no restores will be allowed.
