Hi, as the title suggests, my ITV HD picon shows up on the info bar/channel list but is absent from the front LCD screen (I have a Vu Duo2)

Does anyone know why this would be?

If you only have one set of picons on your system & your lcd4linux is set to the correct picon location FTP try adding the picon as a service reference instead of a service name, or visa versa.
Do you manually handle your picons or download from feeds?
P.s. I presume you use the latest VIX?

I'm running the latest version of vix but it has always been missing off the LCD. I use mk picons manually

Latest = confusion. State the name/numbers please.

Post a picture of what you are seeing/not seeing. It is Tuesday today. Sky makes changes on Tuesday and Thursday so one of the names may have changed.

There are many different service references and service names for ITV HD because of the regions, it will be the formatting of the service name for your region that lcd4linux doesn't like, if I remember correctly lcd4linux requires patched code for service name picons so just because it works in channel list... I would find a service reference picon for your regin of ITV and try adding that.

LCD4linux was adapted to work with SNPs by Pembo a long time ago.

Try copying and renaming one of the other ITV ones.

Thank you. There was no itv Tyne tees HD pic on in the folder so I have renamed one of the other ones. Sorted. Thanks for your help

LCD4linux was adapted to work with SNPs by Pembo a long time ago.
Yes i know it did, but that was what it was an adaption (patched code like i said) which is why it may have worked on his info bar but not on the screen, sort of the code in engma2 can fit by matching some of the string but lcd4linux needs to match the string exactly.

So how did it work on infobar?

Glad you got it sorted, i knew it would be down to lcd4linux wouldn't be able to match the string, as i said renaming an ITV HD picon to your service reference would have worked the same as well.
