Box: VU+ Solo2 and Xtrend 8500

Plugins: All core plugins plus cacheflush

Version: Exists in all 4.2 versions

How to reproduce issue:

1. Start playing a recording
2. During playback someone calls to the house and you Press Standby to turn of the box
3. When you press standby to turn the box back on the recording resumes where it left off but there is no sound
4. Exit the recording and there is still no sound. You need to turn to standby and back on again when a recording is not playing to regain sound

Thanks

You could just pause the playback...
I have a vague memory of this being a known issue (with the drivers?)...

Just tried it on a ET8500 and you are correct
In this situation, flipping the Audio channel also restores the sound, but agree with birdman, you would normally hit pause.

Hope you don,t use cacheflush on the ET8500, completely superfluous :)

Why are you using cachefush for these receivers, just not needed. The Vu+ Solo, Vu+ Duo yes but not the Xtrend ET8500 or Vu+ Solo2.

Just press mute twice, that'll bring your sound back :)

I can just click pause, but thought I'd mention it as a bug anyway so it can go on a list somewhere to fix.

I didn't know I didn't need cache flush on these boxes. I'll install. Thanks! :)

Is it an issue with both Xtrend and VU+ drivers?

I'm happy to send them off an email if this is confirmed.
