Hi, Have Samsung Smart tv after updating the smart hub I am unable to download any apps. The tv connects to the router but not to the Internet. Have been on to Samsung support for 2 days but still have same problem. Have 7/8 items all connected to the Internet ok and also have a second Samsung tv that connects and all apps are ok. !!!!!

If its a bt hub try turn off the smart scan security. I had hub 5 and the smart scan did not let new wifi connections ie my amazon fire stick through to the internet.
Done a factory reset, it's not a bt hub it's Samsung smart hub built into tv.

Still have no fix for this 2 days with Samsung support still no joy. Tv connects to modem but modem does not connect to Internet.

No using a Netgear Nighthawk x4s D7800. The tv will not connect to Samsung server for remote help, can connect to EBay, Facebook ect but not there server. Have 8 items wire & wireless all work ok without problems. Samsung have now washed there hands of it and told me to take it to a Samsung repair centre at my cost.

What did you update? The router or the TV? If you updated the router then it is a problem with the router regardless of everything else working.
Updated the inbuilt smart hub then lost all apps except the Webb browser & e-manual apps.

Right. Maybe a dns issue. Are you able to view the network settings on the tv?
Yes tried 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4 with Samsung support.

Are you using DHCP? If so then you shouldn't be using those. The dns server should be the ip address of the router.

Have 2 Smart tvs one is ok all apps ok and the other just won't load or connect to Samsung server.

if its wifi change the name and channel wifi in router then try again and use dns 8.8.8.8
Done that still don't work. Done a smart hub connection test, unable to launch apps you need to update software error 8005. Tv then shows connected to router then a red X from router to web. I know the router is connected to web as I can excess eBay, Facebook ect. Might be a software fault and needs to be reflashed.!

Have you tried to update the software via USB to ensure you are on the latest software version for your TV?

are you using Ethernet or wi fi connection to the router from the tv, take it you been into the tv settings and made sure your connection is showing and that you have typed in the password for your network connection?
Have tried wireless & wired and I CAN use the web browser on both. But the tv smart hub will not connect to the Samsung server to download any apps. Doing a network test it shows tv to modem & modem to web ok. BUT doing a smart hub connection test I get tv to modem ok modem to web failed with s big red X between modem & web.

I buy my self a Samsung tv recently. It is working well Now I buy an amazon firestick for me and Can I download the https://showbox.expert/ app on my amazon firestick ??? Is there any kind of VPN required or Is it safe or not ??
