View Full Version : XTrend ET9500 picture freezes But audio works on latest image

I have the latest open vix image currently flashed(4.2.006). After the image 4.2.004 this problem started. The picture freezes when every program ends but audio continue to play current programs. Then i have to press channel list and select the channel then picture started to play. I have tried Open PLi image and works ok but on that Channel changing is not easy. because Ch+ and CH- not changing the channel. Therefore i came back to Open vix with new firmware. But the problem still there. Please look into this. Please advice me how to get the log file from ET 9500.

Cable, sat, terrrestial input?
Plugins installed or vanilla install?
Menu, system, logs. Change settings from flash to usb/hdd and also turn on debug logs.
Use ftp to extract log from usb/hdd folder log

When you flashed to 4.2.004 did you go from 4.1 and did you restore settings or setup from new?

Input is Satelite twin feeds, CCcam plugin installed, I done changes in the log settings but there is no logs now.
Everytime I flash I never restore settings, but restore service lists using Dreambox edit.

Now I flashed 4.2.001 but still problem stays

Finally the problem is solved with Open vix 4.1.016. I think 4.2 image have problem for ET 9500. Anyone with ET 9500 and 4.2 works without problem please let me know. Team please check what you changed in 4.1 and 4.2 why this happening.

What happens if you backup your current image, then flash latest ( 8?) but don,t restore channel settings.
E.g. Restore softcam/CCcam, but either run a full scan or easier just ABM to generate some bouquets and then try playing the services.
By the way was it all services or just some?

I did not tried the full image backup but I am willing to do that. The problem was for not only for one channel it freezes most of the channels..

After 4.2.011 all the problems gone. Thanks for the Vix image team.
