It has been advised to use 2.3.0 for some time now.

cccam 2.3.0 works fine here, although I don't use it anymore.

For the latest 5 years I haven`t seen my Conax paycards been working with Cccam in Finland in local terrestrial networks. That`s why I`m using Oscam instead.
