I am unable to get the new open vix image 4.2 (001 or 005) to work in multi boot. It is unable to deflate the file.

Is this not supposed to run in this mode:confused:

Don't know about now but ViX was never built with multiboot support. It did work but it was never by conscious design.

Don't give up mate. A lot has changed since then so maybe the stance on multiboot support may have also ? but you will need to speak to one of the developers for confirmation either way.

OMB is there on the feeds for people that want to use it but there is no support for it.

I guess that to some extent this has been superceded by built in multiboot on some receivers such Xtrend ET8500 and multiboot capability on the Mutant HD51
