Just bought a 1500HD via the WOS offer - impressive performance from this little box.

Question I have is how do I go about setting a virtual remote control for my sling box to control the mutant? I don't see mutant listed.

You can make custom slingplayer files. There is a guide here.

Otherwise I just use Dreamdroid to change the channels. It's much easier and has an epg etc.

Couldn't find the BIN file - creating one from scratch is way too complicated for me :(

Is there another remote that I can try?

Did you solved it? I have the same problem with my Mutant 500 .
What seems to be needed is remote codes that works for:
Mutant HD 500/1100/1200/1265/1500
or
Xtrend et7x00/et8500/et7000mini

Nope - didn't get any useful suggestions.
