Tm twin oe - Tuner B woes

Hello all
I've an issue with tuner B everytime I record.
First of all my setup
I've a motorised dish with tuner settings
Tuner A usals
Tuner B 2nd cable of motorised dish
So if I'm watching say bbc1 and trying to record Bbc2 and switch over to bbc2 I get a black screen with a tune failed error, when I go back to bbc1 picture comes back
Any suggestions/advice will be greatly received

You have not described your hardware setup fully. Is it like this picture?

I have one cable coming out of lnb1 on the box going to the motor and a cable going from the motor to the lnb port 1, the cable from lnb2 on the box goes direct to the lnb port 2 (it's a 4port lnb) I have measured 18vdc on the cable of box port lnb1 when I measure box port lnb2 I get 0vdc.

Possibilities are :
Faulty LNB.
Faulty cabling
Loose connection.
Not enough power to tuner (faulty PSU)
Faulty tuner

I would move dish to 28.2. Label the cables so you dont forget which is which.

Set tuner A as simple single, 28.2. Try both wires one at a time. Do they both work?
DO teh same for tuner B.

both cables work on tuner a/lnb1 neither work on tuner b/lnb 2, I have also checked the continuity of my cables from the wall socket to the box, both are fine, when I check my motor I have the green power led lit up when I use lnb1 but not when I use lnb2

Sounds like the tuner B is faulty.
