Caravan/Portable satellite setup ?

Anyone use a portable satellite setup , tripod etc. What would you recommend ? Buy separately or as a kit ?

Can i use a quad tuner with only 2 cables coming from the lnb by using splitters or anything ?

No you can't use splitters. You can use the software loopthrough feature for satellite but its very limited at what you can watch n record. Its not the same as having 4 in dependant feeds.

I'm just going on the basic info he gave regarding "Quad LNB". Unicable would be a different kettle of fish.

I am wanting to buy a maxview portable system which only comes with a twin lnb and the cables are built into the unit and maxview have said if i make any changes or open the unit the warranty is void. If i was to just swap the lnb for the unicable system i wouldnt have to open the unit and void the warranty and could use the built in cables. Does the unicable work with a Vu Duo 2 ?
