where is my ext hdd ?

Hi

Can anyone please help . I have a wd external drive mounted . however it can dissapear for no reason . When i go mount manager , there is nothing there to mount . . One day it had disapeared and i did not have time to sort due to work , later that day it was back . Likewise today it was there and recording fine , I turned system of and later when i turned back on it was gone :confused:

How do you have it mounted? in mount manager is it mounted as needed (autofs) or something else?

I also have an external WD drive which I had many problems with at first, and nothing I could do would fix it, only made things worse!

In the end I just re-flashed the whole receiver with a fresh copy of VIX and re-mounted then it was all fine
