hi guys installed a twin cable tuner when i scan i only get half the channels i use get on my single cable tuner,some of the ones i use to get on single cable tuner saying tune failed on twin cable tuner any idea what im do wrong if i am im in sourthern ireland cheers

You may need an attenuator.

he might be thinking your signal is too strong:confused:what type of scan are you doing like auto scan or abm scan?

thinking qams 16,64 and 256 ticked and got correct netid inserted and not using a sat splitter? 5-1000 i hope.

Tuners have varying sensitivities. If signal is too high for the tuner, that causes problems.

An attenuator will reduce the signal strength.

make sure you have a decent cable splitter & make sure your net id is set correctly.

i dont have net id dont know one for my area anyway when i do a scan on 6875-6900 cablebrutforce it scans all cable channels in on the single tuner fine
