I get this message when installing in the Vix 1.3 image
*ERROR Cannot satisfy the following dependencies for enigma2-plugin-extensions-dyndns: * enigma2-plugins-src *
* Cannot find package enigma2-plugin-extensions-dyndns.
Execution finnished!!

Has anybody come across this before? Are there alternatives to dyndns?

Thanks but no joy unfortunately.
I telneted the two commands with dcc and rebooted but still the same error.
What else could it be......

When i type "opkg update" about 16 lines of actions pop up but when i type "opkg upgrade" nothing happens for a few seconds and then the prompt pops up. Is this right?

yes thats right and the upgrade can take a few mins so wait untill you see

As an alternative theres a PC utility to update you Dyndns

http://www.dyndns.com/support/clients/windows.html

Or some routers have a dyndns utility build in.
