Having just bought a wonderful VU+ duo its now time to upgrade my dish :-) but wanted to ask on here the best size. I wasnt thinging of getting a motorised setup but get a dish with 2 lnbs on the end - one for astra 28e and one for hotbird 13e - would this work or are they too far apart. I hav been advised that a 1meter dish should work but i wanted to ask on here :D

i have just brought from our sponsor a orbital 80cm and multi connect system brilliant for what you need

although i purchased 4 lnbs fr 28.2e 19e 16e and 13e

but you can opt for just 2 if you want and a 80cm orbital is fine for the job i reckon

I have a 1m orbital with technomate 2300 motor as numerous lnbs weren't for me.
I get 4.8, 13, 16, 19 & 28 etc no issues

for someone who wants only 2 sats then 2 lnb stup is the best option plus you aint messing about setting it up and once done no wait for the dish to move etc

For the last 9 years I have used a Wavefrontier T90 with 5 LNB's: 1W, 5E, 13E, 19E and 28E. Storm or clouds have not once disturbed my reception.

To check setup for your specific geographical location, try this helpful tool: dishpointer.com.

You might not need to purchase a new dish, on SKY Zone two you can get HB. Google ghostleader and multi LNB etc, hopefully the thread should come up for you - soz cant post link to other forums.

Silver - whats worth having on those sats apart fron 3PM KO which not too fussed.

Its a lot of money and aggravation. I was thinking of a motorised dish but my viewing is very limited basically the T5 do me fine until SKY buy the series:mad::(

think long and hard cos i bet you, you will want to upgrade to motorised in no time :)

either way get the biggest dish you get away with on your house and use T&K mounts so if you do upgrade to motorised it wont be to much of a job, just grab a motor and mount it on.

thats what i would do anyway :)

Not possible for everyone. Like at mine, I have 3-storey houses in the way, so put the dish highest we could on our 3-storey... a ground mount would get nothing at all...
