View Full Version : Remote periodically unresponsive???
My old vu remote was from time to time very unresponsive found myself bashing buttons over and over to change channel so I bought a new remote but it seems the same? What could be the problem guessing something to do with the received could it be fixed?

Weak batteries. Better off using high quality Duracell batteries no Wilko's cheap branded ones. Also do you have any power saving/energy saving bulbs recently fitted? Cos believe it or not that can have an adverse effect on the remote.

Not by any chance using a Plasma tv are you? I have terrible issues with quite a few remotes trying to operate near my Plasma :confused:
think it is a plasma, the batteries arnt duracell and i have a house full of energy savers! will do some trial and error with those 3 and see what results i get!
none of those seem to be working...i also load quite a few zgemma for friends etc and no issue with remote with these. anything else?
