Hi,

I have added an IPTV bouquet which connects to a well know IPTV service and loads a number of channels, my problem is that CrossEPG obviously cannot grab EPG information for these channels, however my IPTV provider has an external EPG which is a basic XML file.

Does anyone know of a way of adding this external EPG to my IPTV Bouquet?

its just a basic url that i need to connect to something along the lines of http://?????.???/EPG/guide.xml

the guide.xml file is a standard egg file created by webgrabplus.

Any help provided would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Jamie

What channels? If you use the correct service ref the epg will work.

I've use E channelizer to copy the UK ref to the UK iptv channels, this way when running crossepg it updates the epg like they was normal Sat channels.

If you have some non uk channels in your iptv m3u you can use a website called https://www.iptv-epg.com you import your m3u file and it sorts them out for you ie country and channel etc then you download a script which updates the epg for those iptv channels you imported.
Works pretty well.
