OK folks, had another PSU blow in my TM-TWIN-OE.

Replaced the PSU but still no boot at all.

Connected up a null modem and all i get back is the following
BCM73350010
012
Shmoo Version=2.2

MEMC-00000000 RW=0000000C WW=00000047 G=00000001 R=00000006 W=00000013
MEMC-00000001

Its well out of warranty.
Before i send it off to Technomate support i was just wondering if JTAGGING is an option ???
I have come across methods to jtag the VU+ which uses a similar board BCM73350010

Can anyone tell me if you can JTAG a TM-TWIN-OE ???

They can be jtagged, but not seen any posts on this forum. There is a boot loader flashing tool if you want to give it a try.

As an update i sent it to TM, they checked it and said there was nothign wrong with it.

Believe it or not the PSU i had purchased previously and unable to test was faulty :-(

I just got the box with same issue as decribed in post #1
Are there any tools avaliable to do JTAG for this box ?
I found some old link to a bootloader recovery via rs232 but they dont work anymore.
@abu baniaz - any chance to upload those tools again ?

..hmmm I think this is not what I'm after.
That is what I see over rs232 after STB starts

BCM73350010

Shmoo Version=2.2

MEMC-00000000 RW=0000000D WW=00000047 G=00000001 R=00000006 W=00000015
MEMC-00000001 RW=0000000F WW=00000044 G=00000001 R=00000007 W=00000002 #$

... and that's literally it ... nothing more shows up.
However I'v tried to change the MAC adress but at this stage it is impossible.

After really long reading I came to conclusion it can be either:
- faulty PSU (as foxyboy mentioned in post#3 but I've messured all the output and they looking OK)
- or isssue with corrupted bootloader ( I read somwhere old firmware got issues with EPG beeing stored in wrong flash adress that messed up the bootloader)

I actually found those two posts of yours, but in both cases I cannot download the attachment (one link is dead in other I'm not allowed to download as I cannot complete registration (forum is dead, admin does not respond):

so ... unfortunately no luck with mine :/ apparently CFE is corrupted. I can't get STB to programing mode.
Abu wrote about it:

The only thing I would add is that in section 2.1, after your click com start, the execution log will display some text and end with CFE. If you do not get to CFE, there is a problem and you cannot use this procedure.
Ringing Technomate is not an option for me as I'm not based in UK ... but I might give a shot and try the very last option - that is the actual jtagging.

from what I understand it is an Broadcom based reciever so jtaging should be similarl as in VU Plus Solo (https://jb8a8f8.com/support/index.php?attachments/i2c-steps-vu-plus-solo-jpg.893/), or other BCM recievers (i.e those ->59863)

I'm not sure however wchich are the JTAG pins (probably the one next to FAN Socket). Anybody can cofirm ?

@gilvey what was the issue with yours ?

They never released any details about the jtagging. Also bear in mind it is a DAGS receiver badged as Technomate. So expand your search to include them.
