Usb wifi install

Hi
I'm trying to install a wifi dongle to my Solo2
It was given to me by my son who used it on a Skybox

it is a SKYBOX wifi with an antenna. The blurb on the ad said it would work on a Vu.

I have installed the latest image from WOS downloads

i have plugged in the dongle, and it then shows in settings on Vu
I can see the various networks available to me.

But I'm not sure how to configure the settings etc.

Can anyone help a frustrated old man please?

In the list of your various networks you should see your router. Just press ok on that router. Turn encryptions to wpa or wpa2 and put in password of router. Press ok and save.

sorted out now.

Should have selected the main router wifi not 1 of the sub systems.

also found that all settings needed manually entering. The network wizard didnt work for me

I also downloaded a new driver from Plugins for the USB.

all appears to be working well (so far)
