mgcamd not working on openvix 4.1 016

Hi I have just installed the latest image opnvix 4.1 version 016 and I cannot get mgcamd to work.
I have installed both 1.35 and 1.38 and have copied the mgcamd and newcamd files over the the usual area.

However, when I go to softcam and start either 1.35 or 1.38, it says it's running however it does not display channels.

not sure what is wrong? is any else having this problem?

Have you tried to do a full reboot not gui? Have you checked that the channels have been scanned?

thanks for your replies chaps. do a re install of the image for the third time and it began to work. However, I cannot disable DHCP on this image. everytime I disable it becomes enabled

Are you pressing green button to save your settings.

Usual area you mean usr/keys?

yes I press green to save my settings but it still reverts back to enabled and yes I meant user/keys.

In softcam you need to press blue button to "AutoStart" and green button to "Start" if memory serves me right.
