I want to add Virgin UK to My bouqets and all the virgin HD channel to replace the SD sky channel and keep the correct sky numbering.

If possible i would like to keep the SD channel still available at the bottom of the list.

How is this possible?

You will need a CustomMix (xml) file to do what you want to do.

Yes if you already have one on the box if not past it in Notepad and name it sat_282_sky_uk_CustomMix.xml

My recommended providers settings are:

sky roi: yes
all other roi options to no
sky uk: yes
sky uk: area HD not custom or sd
generate bouquets yes
channel swap to yes
virgin uk: yes
virgin generate bouquets to no i have main bouquet to yes for epgrefresh

For sky uk yes if you want them it's the same for vm. Just make sure you don't choose fta only.

Also make sure sky uk is at the top in providers order

Sorry about that. Didn't read it properly. Just realise you need a custom mix file.

No it shouldn't sounds like a cable issue check the splitter and connections are tight.

Was the channels working fine before using the custommix.xml.

If using mgcamd check the mg_cfg file that you have

L: { 00 }
Not
L: { 01 }

CustomMix can't make your channels jumpy.

what about other bouqets fta & fta hd? and virgin swap no?if you are not creating bouquets, swap is not going to have any effect either way.
