Hi, All.

Looking for a bit of clarification/support here

I have just purchased the VU+ Turbo USB Tuner DVB-C/T2 for my VU+ Duo 2 direct from WOS here >>>>

http://www.world-of-satellite.co.uk/satellite-and-terrestrial/Plug-and-Play-Digital-Tuner-modules/VU-Plus-Tuners/VU-Plus-Turbo-USB-Tuner-DVB-C-T2

My Vu+ Duo 2 is running the latest version of Openvix (41016) and I have 1 x Twin DVB-S/S2 and 1 x Single DVB-S/S2 tuners installed internally

I am planning on plugging in the USB DVB-C/T2 tuner in the back of the box and connecting my active paid subscription on Virgin

I have read various guides and forums in setting this up but wanted to clear a few things up...

As my line is live and subscribed to, I am assuming I can just split the cable using a proper coax splitter and running one of the cables from the box on the wall to my USB tuner

Then, input my network id on ABM

then add my c-line in cccam / mgcamd / oscam

then scan for channels, and then be all set?

Am I right for the above?

I currently only receive FTA satellite on my box but after the Virgin install will I be able to run both at the same time Freesat/Virgin and zap between cable and satellite just by switching channels?

And as the VU turbo is only a single tuner is there a way of being able to record one channel and watch another?

I hope all makes sense; any clarification and support greatly appreciated

Many thanks

Grant
