What criteria has a hard disk have if I want to put one on my box?

Anyone recommend one?

hi I use a external slim 1tb and it works flawlessly - no need to open up no noise spinning absolutely perfect for the job

just wondered if sata 2 etc - it has a slide out caddy on the side

I used these (but it is 18 months ago) and obviously you can go larger :) ... but watch the thickness of teh HDD (there is something in the specs ... or at least there was!!
