Hi guys,

I have Vu Duo with the latest Vix image 4.1.016.

In the system menu under Fan Control my options are set to yes on Use Fan Timer and for fan on duration time I have it set to 001 and time off duration set to 060 but the fan never stops working and is always running. It seems the fan control doesn't work.

Anyone else have this problem and what to do get this working?

If you set the fan to 'Off' (so not using the timer): does it go off then when in standby?

Sorry I forgot to mention that in standby mode yes the fan turns off and is silent.

It's just when the box is on and channels are being watch the fan never turns off

That's correct then. When the box is 'on', the fan is always on. The plugin only regulates things when in standby.

Oh right! I thought this setting was for when the box was being watched! Good to know this is only for when the box is in standby mode.

I have set my fan to be off in standby mode, but not sure what speed and temp to set in in viewing mode?
it dose make a huming Nosie and can get quite anyoing.

Fancontrol for the DUO has no such options.
