Hi all, I'm trying to run ABM on netID 40962 and keep getting tuner locked. I'm on the latest version of Apollo (14) on a gigablue quad plus. Only have 1 tuner configured with the net id set to 40962 and provider set to VM. Getting channels when performing manual scan but tuner locked on ABM... any suggestions??

Get the logs and we'll go from there. The pure area details were calculated. We need logs if they don't work.

You are not in a pure area. The detaills in the existing xml match the ones that the logs have shown.

Are you sure that is your net ID? What are the other tuners configured as?

There are these two entries in the logs.

<configuration key="40961" netid="40961" bouquettype="hd" frequency="595000" symbol_rate="6952000" system="0" fec_inner="3" inversion="2" modulation="3">40961 Barnsley 600MHz (Barnsley 1)</configuration>
<configuration key="40962" netid="40962" bouquettype="hd" frequency="595000" symbol_rate="6952000" system="0" fec_inner="3" inversion="2" modulation="3">40962 Barnsley 860MHz (Barnsley 2)</configuration>

EDIT:
Could you alos get the logs using instructions from post 2. Please perform while on an active channel.

Hi Abu, the Net ID was taken from the official Tivo box so I assume its right.

Attached logs from post 2 and also rescanned nit analyser making sure i was on an active channel.

appreciate the help.

Forgot to mention Tuner C is set to DVB-C on net id 40962 and providers set to Virgin media. I've then ran a loop out of C to D and set tuner D with the same settings.

Disable tuner D and try ABM again please.

Hi Abu,

It's working after disabling all tuners except C. Really appreciate the help, everything looking very nice and orderly now :D

I'm guessing this takes daily scheduled ABM scans out of the picture if I want to use both tuners unless I disable tuner D every night?

Post a picture of the wiring of your tuners please.

Photo attched. The VM feed into C then loop into D

If you remove the loopthrough cable, does it work then?
Not all tuners/boxes need a loopthrough cable when set as loopthrough.

It only worked when i disabled tuner A, B and D completely. Couldnt see a loopthrough option on the tuner config for the hybrid tuners so used the cable and mirrored the settings. PiP works with different channels using this method so seems effective.

That is correct: they all need the same feed (which can be via a loopthrough cable). You really need to do that to be able to use all your tuners.

'Loopthrough' as setting is only of importance to satellite tuners. Other tuners always get the full signal-spectrum.

Thanks Rob :)

Strangely, I could only get ABM to work when tuners A & B were disabled and Tuner D was set to T2 (it isn't a T2 feed). Still not managed to crack using ABM with both tuners set to cable :(
