Hope you can help.

I have had BT for 6 weeks now. It has been awful, it keeps crashing. I have complained many times but now I think that it is not their fault.

My internet went down again earlier and I removed the 2 X ethernet cables from my Xtrend. Hey presto internet back.

Any ideas? Is my Xtrend faulty or is it a settings problem.

...you're connecting both Ethernet ports on your et10k into the bt hub?

You only put a cable into the LAN port the other is a VLAN port which you don't need to plug into.

this drove me mad with 2 options for lan and choosing the correct port and setup .network test will show working if needing to check.

I am guessing you are using MgCamd. Your mg_cfg has the logging option on and it is crippling your network.

Because of issues after flashing a new image, I always stuck 2 internet cables into my previous ET10000 - never caused an issue, in fact prevented issues, so guess Abu has pointed out likely issue:)

Use these config files

The most important thing is the L value. It should be 0, not 3.

Abu, I want to have your babies!

I have just inserted the new config files and I have internet on laptop and Xtrend working.

Thank you so much. I now need to come to terms with all the abuse that I gave BT. I feel so guilty.

Don't feel guilty they defiantly deserve it somewhere down the line.

Full kodi doesn't work on the Xtrend receivers but Kodi direct does and is supported on the main Xtrend web site.
