Tuner problems.

A mate phoned yesterday that his technomate nano se had lost all channels since he moved it back up stairs so I took my meter down and checked the signal which was fine .Brought the box up to mine but just the same on a known working cable.Today a new miracle box mini arrived and it won't tune also .The cable can be took out and put back into my box and works no bother but into the tech or miracle and it won't find 28.2e

Can you explain what you mean by "won't find 28.2"?

On the initial setup (vix) when it finds the feed .After setting up hdmi,interface and Internet connection .

You mean automatic won't find it? If so, manually select 28.2. perform a scan (do not enable network search). How many channels do you get?

This is baffling, done tons of these boxes ,don't want to bother WoS yet about a return but may have too.

Are you using a sky quad lnb.

It's a eight port black ultra I think but when I connect my box to same feed it's fine .Front room ,fine bedrooms ok too.

I've scanned again only 106 channels found then most came up n/a on list


I've just took the sat cable out and put into my gigablue quad to watch Wales and flicked through all the channels no problem.

Sent back to WoS and tuner sorted out ,scanned straight in when returned to me cheers WoS.
