I'm after some advice.

I am just wondering if it is possible to wipe the full box and start again? I tried to flash the box and it seems something has gone wrong. I am now left with no picture on the tv and the screen of the Solo just says VU+ SOLO2. I have had the box around 2 years and its been awesome up until now.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Flashing the box via usb will wipe it clean.

I don't know if its a genuine VU but the box and packaging seemed legit. the website I bought it from did go missing around 12 month ago so I don't know.

Doesn't sound like a genuine. Google patched image for clone solo 2. Try flash that

How can I tell if the box is a clone? I Paid 350 for it 2 years ago.

one thing to be careful of is assuming model name is correct for the image you want, sometimes cable box might have a different image ie solo2 and solo 2 se.was the box image beforehand vix?,clones usually have black hole.
vu are fussy in usb usage for flashing boxes, kingston 8gb preferred, and reread flashing guides for that model?
