How to download the stream from Kodi?

I'm just wondering how to download a stream from Kodi onto the solo2?

On my Android box with kodi I press the blue button and I can download the steam, which is particularly useful when I get a stuttering stream, I download it wait 5 mins and watch the buffer while it continues to download.

Presently I'm in Titan and I have a stuttering stream. How do I download the stream on this version of Kodi, Does anyone know?

Hi,
try installing the plugin MediaInfo which is able to download a stream and a lot of streams can also be saved by simply pressing record but I am not sure about kodi.
