I'm looking for another receiver to put in the other room.

I have a Solo4K as the main receiver, and the new one will not have a feed into the box. I'll just be using fallback tuner since I have FBC setup on the Solo4k

I have android boxes, and I tried the enigma2 Kodi plugin, but it seemed really clunky and very slow to import the epg considering it's a Shield TV and everything is on a gigabit wired network.

So.. any better Android software options? Or if I go for a second receiver, I was thinking of the Vu+ Zero - I bought one for my father-in-law and it seems ok.

Other options are the Edision OS Mini, or Miraclebox Premium which looks quite nice.

So.. opinions?

I would vouch for the vu zero mate, I have it in the bedroom and it is faultless for just viewing purposes. I wouldn't recommend of you want it for anything more than TV though.

Nah, it's just purely for live TV - don't even need record or timeshift really.

I would keep in sync and have the Vu+ Zero. But any of the other listed ones look good boxes too. [emoji4]
