kodi plugin video viewer

Hi

Been using the kodi pluging on my solo2 however I'm not happy with the video streamer when a film comes on there are no on screen
selection to stop start or stop and I'm having to use the remote keys to operate. Is there another video streamer I can use instead of the
in built one if so how do I go about installing and do I need to delete the in built one

up to now no. Kodi on the VU boxes only use the internal E2 player.
