View Full Version : Something weird just happened - 4.1.013

Prompted to update to 4.1.013 (green flashy thing). Ran update via Setup > Software Update, left it running for 15 minutes, no reboot. My internet connection dropped, so thought "bugger". Powered down Vu Solo2 via power switch, left it for a while, internet back on, powered back on, no update.

All very weird! Looking at the receiver and router there appeared to be a tonne of traffic between them.

Anyone experienced anything like that before?

Strange my solo 2 took the update to 013 ok but now says there is another update but it's blank. I don't think 013 was for the solo2

The same thing has happened with my solo4k up dated to 13 but keeps telling me there is an up date but there is not.
i don't have Xmltv Importer installed?
not sure if it helps

No its not a requirement. What happens when you restart the receiver? (A full restart not a GUI Restart btw)

This fixed my update issue cheers.
So after a update it's a gui restart?

Sorry to take this on a tangent, but how come 013 isn't available via Image Manager?
