View Full Version : [ABM-DVB-T/T2] Tune Failed - ABM Scans Unexpected Transmitter

Hi folks

With my terrestrial aerial connected directly to my TV I can view all terrestrial channels from my local mast (Stockland Hill).
When I connect the aerial to my Sundtek tuner and run ABM I get tune failed on a number of channels. I have figured out they are all on the same transmitter (58), which I don't think I should be able to receive.
So I run a manual scan of transmitter 25 and the channels are now viewable.
The next morning, after ABM has done its thing, it has scanned in the channels from transmitter 58 and I get tune failed again, so I have to manually scan 25 to be able to view them.
So it seems ABM is scanning channels from 58 instead of 25?

Anyone know why this is happening or if there is anything I can change to stop it happening in future?

I have attached the E2 log which I hope will help.

Thanks

Best thing is, do a manual scan, clear all services = yes, and post your lamedb file here.

Alternatively do a scan with the Terrestrial Scan plugin from the feeds and post the debug log and lamedb.

Just for further information I am already using the latest .xml from post #2 of the 'ABM Terrestrial HD (UK): User input required' thread, but it doesn't make any difference.

Here is the lamedb file from a manual scan.

Thanks

Try this.

I have transferred it twice to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/AutoBouquetsMaker/providers
just to double check but unfortunately it hasn't worked.
Still getting channels from CH58

Turn on extra debug in ABM and debug logs in enigma2. Post the debug log of the ABM scan.

Ok ABM log attached.

Thanks

ABM.log is no good for this. You need to switch on extra debug in ABM menu, and debug logs, and post the debug log.

That should sort CH25, but is that the only multiplex you are having trouble with?

I don't recall having any other issues, but will test today's file and double check everything later this evening (after work) and report back.

Thanks very much for the support.

I have transferred todays .xml restarted GUI, ran ABM and attached the debug log and lamedb file.

Sorry to report that it is still picking up CH58 instead of CH25.

I've also scrolled through every channel and although I get a signal there are certain other channels with no picture or sound, just a black screen, they are:-

CH28 - QVC+1, Community ,YourTV+1 (not sure if this one is actually broadcasting at this time), Jewellery Maker,
CH22 - truTV+1 (not sure if this one is actually broadcasting at this time)
CH26 - CBeebies, BBC RB 0
CH29 - BBC RB 2, BBC RB 3,

No need to restart GUI for a provider update.

OK so that has now replaced CH58 with CH25+, however I have no signal and Tune failed on those channels.

Can I have the lamedb to compare the difference with your conventional scan.

I have signal but just a black screen on these channels:-
CH28- Rocks & CO 1, Community, Jewellery Maker
CH25 ITVBe+1, ITV4+1

The rest are fine :) (There were 1 or 2 others but I think that was because they have stopped transmitting due to the ungodly hour we're at)

Could probably do with testing during the daytime.

lamedb attached

Thanks

If some channels on the transponder work (ITV3) it is unlikely to be an ABM problem.

Try again in the daytime.
