View Full Version : [VU+ Solo2] Codec HEVC black screen

Dear all
When I scanned for new stations I came on Astras 19.0 on 10714 accros BBC HLG testing with a video codec HEVC. I can hear the sound but see no picture. Do we new a new codec to be loaded? Will this be integrated in the next OpenVix release?

Nope you would need a HVEC capable receiver like the Vu+ Solo4K for example.

Just to confirm the HLG test channel is a 4K channel so you need a 4K receiver to view. The only one out at present is the Vu+ Solo 4K.

For about 1 more week :) .... but probably only in mainland Europe :)
