I have not changed the image of my Duo for some considerable time.I had lost access through the internet, so I decided to flash a new image i.e. 4.1.009.
On extracting I noticed that the 3 essential files - root, boot and kernel were not all present - the boot file is missing?
Needless to say it would not flash to my box, in spite of numerous attempts, using different usb sticks.
I then downloaded a different image - vti - and this worked first time.
I would like to stick to VIX images though. Can anyone help to solve the problem?

regards,

Jack

Yes I have Ashley69. Just got starting, then Duo opened the channel previously tuned to, did not find any viable files I think.

The content of the download of the image did not include the necessary file.IMHO that is why it didnt flash maybe?

I've not long updated a duo with that image. No problems. Are you putting the vuplus folder on the stick?

Yes - vu plus with a sub folder named duo. It just seemed odd that when the 3 files - boot, root and kernel - were present in the VTI image, that the flash worked with no problem. Did you download the image from the VIX Team images on this site?

Sorry to be a pain, but did the image you flashed contain the following files?

Image version
Kernel
Reboot.Update
Root
Splash?

Yes.
What version do you have on it at the moment?
