Hi all

this might sound stupid but is satellite coax cable the same as cable tv cable?

An old article on coax - hence prices are well out of date. The article is primarily aimed at digital TV via an aerial which is a lower frequency than satellite.

Coax used for cable TV may be the type C mentioned in that article whereas ideally use the type A or B for satellite.

Lots of Ebay sellers of Webro WF100 coax cable in various lengths. Guide price 60p/80p per metre for short lengths and close to 35p per metre for a reel. The F in WF100 indicates a foam dielectric which I would recommend.
