No, why would you think it would be? It definately States HD in the model name.
I thought it would just need a software update or something
So is there any 4K receivers out on the market ? That can handle 4 tuners ?

The Vu+ Solo 4K has FBC tuners and if used with a Unicable LNB/Unicable II (JESS) LNB can give you up to 8 tuners.

Yeah you can add a twin hybrid cable tuner.

That 'up to 8 tuners' sounds nice (and it is!) but that's only on a limited satellites (one or two) setup.
Hi Rob,
in theory JESS supports up to 64 sat. Old unicable only 2.

Yep, indeed, you're right.
But probably an expensive setup, if the hardware is available at all? But of course that might change when more FBC-tuners will hit the market.
BTW: 'JESS' = Unicable II (it's just a brand name).
I think I will hold on as at the moment only 2 4K channels to watch ... Can't justify 400£ just for 2 channels lol

Hi,
in Germany a shopping channel and fashion TV is the killing feature for the box:-) I really do not care about 4K and if I will the with this silver discs and projector. The box has a big advantage for recording fans.

And it is also fanless, shame about the 24hz though (doh don't mention the 24)
