I am unable to record or download epg so i am trying to initialised it

You are best flashing your receiver n setting up as new, initialising the HDD n then mounting it, then restore your backup settings n plugins afterwards.

But make sure you grab a fresh backup n ftp to your computer then ftp back to the hdd when you have initialised it etc.
