Hi everyone
I have just got a Miraclebox and set it up without any problems.
The only thing is that the epg is all over the place, does anyone know how to put it into alpherbetical order or all sport channels together, films together etc

What image & version number is on it?
Try Menu -> Setup -> Service searching -> Autobouquets Maker.

I tried what you suggested all I can see is add provider prefix to bouquets - is set at no

You say EPG, do you mean your channel list? EPG is your 7 day tv guide.

Its ok, we all have to start somewhere. For your channels use ViXs ABM. To find this press Menu > Setup > Service Searching > ABM (AutoBouquetsMaker).

set configure to simple
providers freesat and sky


Start scan and get nothing happen - just timeout for tuner lock message

When I press start scan I get tuning freesat services - 0 video 0 radio with the progress bar about a quarter of the way across at the bottom, then a popup appears saying timeout for tuner lock

How many tuners do you have on your receiver?
DO they all have wires from the satellite dish/LNB?
Are the wires direct to LNB or do they have switches/splitters etc in between?

For each tuner, please say what you have configured it as . Separate answer for each tuner please.

Twin tuner but only one cable so far
Just ran a scan and got over 900 channels , picture excellent , have now re found channel list but that along with the epg is in no kind of order

Don't know if this is the problem but when I press the epg button the only options I get are favourites and last scanned , not freesat uk

What is the tuner configuration for the tuner that has no wire connected to it?

If I go into channel list, then providers, bskyb - I get the channel list in alphabetical order

Forget EPG for now. Just listen, comprehensive explanation will come later.

1. The tuner with no wire, set it as "not configured"

2. Run ABM.

3. After ABM completes successfully, press the "TV" button.

Thanks for that - all seems to be working fine now i.e
epg - Then I get a choice of about 25 auto bouquets , select one and epg channels are in alphabetical order

Toprob how are you finding the remote? Does it lock up for a second or two if you press down on the remote a few times quickly?
